How to Dress for a Wedding Party as a Guest
My sister and I attended the wedding of our dear cousin at the end of September. For this festive occasion, we chose appropriate festive outfits.
A frequent dilemma is how to dress for a wedding party as a guest. Many have a problem when choosing an outfit for weddings. Unfortunately, many make a mistake and try too hard and achieve the opposite effect from the desired one, they look kitsch and overly stylized or too casual and not festive.
I always prefer simplicity and timeless classics. I avoid excessive volume, ruffles, glitter and similar. I prefer dresses that follow the line of the body or elegant suits in pastel tones with a nice top or vest under the blazer. For wedding parties, I like to choose heels, slightly more striking makeup, an attractive hairstyle and glamorous jewelry.
So, this time I decided on a fiery red classic, sleeveless, satin midi dress that falls gently down the body. I matched it with black heels and a black mini letter bag. Jewelry in gold tones completed the outfit. In addition to the perfect makeup matte base, I decided on red lipstick, black crayon and nude shadow, two layers of mascara and added a little blush. The hairstyle is a flawless nonchalant bun-tail with twisted strands. My sister opted for a little black dress and gold accessories, wavy hair and a pearl necklace with a heart pendant.
I hope you like our suggestions 🙂
