SRB / Tvid je materijal koji se vezuje za Englesku i najpre su ga nosili samo muškarci. Srećom, tvid se dobro ‘ugnezdio’ i u ženske garderobere i to zahvaljujući legendarnoj Koko Šanel koja je napravila čuvene, prepoznatljive blejzere od tvida. Danas, tvid i dalje predstavlja sinonim za klasu i eleganciju.

Tvid je specifična vunena tkanina, obično tkana u strukturi riblje kosti ili kepera. Tvid je otporan na vremenske uslove i najviše se nosi u zimskoj sezoni, ali tanji tvid veoma je nosiv i u proleće.

Originalan tvid je generalno skup jer je visokokvalitetna i čista vuna u pitanju, ali uvek možete uštedeti tako što ćete nabaviti mešavinu tvida koja izgleda podjednako šik. Gotovo da nema brenda koji u svakoj sezoni neće ponuditi bar jedan komad od tvida. Na raspolaganju su vam blejzeri (kraći ili duži), suknje i haljine, jaknice pa čak i cipele i aksesoari.

Ukoliko do sad niste nosili tvid i mislite da je preozbiljan i suviše poslovan, razmislite još jednom. Zašto ne biste kraću tvid jaknicu-blejzer uparili sa omiljenim džinsom i mokasinama i verujem da ćete biti oduševljeni efektom kako takav outfit zapravo izgleda nonšalantno, a ujedno trendi i šik.

Tvid je već godinama moja ‘šolja čaja’ i nosim ga zaista često i na različite načine. Ovog puta u susret proleću, moj outfit je baš takav: razdragan, koloritan i koketan. Odlučila sam se za mini haljinicu od tvida (sa slatkim pufnastim rukavima) u trendi pepito dezenu, ali u ne tako karakterističnim bojama za pepito. Miks crne, kamel, bele i neočekivane svetlo tirkizne uz veliku ešarpu i efektne velur čizme u istoj nijansi plave stvorio je originalan street outfit koji razbija dosadne zimske tonove.

Tweed is a specific woolen fabric, usually woven in a herringbone or twill pattern. Tweed is weather resistant and is mostly worn in the winter season, but thinner tweed is very wearable in the spring as well.

Genuine tweed is generally expensive because it’s high quality and pure wool, but you can always save by getting a tweed blend that looks just as chic. There is almost no brand that does not offer at least one piece of tweed every season. Blazers (shorter or longer), skirts and dresses, jackets and even shoes and accessories are at your disposal.

If you haven’t worn tweed before and think it’s too serious and too business-like, think again. Why not pair a shorter tweed jacket-blazer with your favorite jeans and moccasins and I believe you will be delighted with the effect of how such an outfit actually looks nonchalant, yet trendy and chic at the same time.

Tweed has been my ‘cup of tea’ for years and I wear it really often and in different ways. This time to meet spring, my outfit is just like that: cheerful, colorful and flirty. I decided on a tweed mini dress (with cute puffy sleeves) in a trendy pepito pattern, but in not so typical pepito colors. A mix of black, camel, white and unexpected light turquoise with a large scarf and effective velor boots in the same shade of blue created an original street outfit that breaks the boring winter tones.
